National Prevention Week: May 13-18, 2019
National Prevention Week (NPW) is an annual SAMHSA-sponsored campaign dedicated to raising public awareness and action around substance use and mental health. This year’s theme – “Inspiring Action. Changing Lives.” – reminds us that we can all inspire positive change throughout the year.

The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and CPI are excited to announce five new posters you can download, share, and post to promote NPW 2019. Use these posters to inspire positive action in your agency and community.
The main NPW Poster provides a quick overview of NPW, a description of each day of NPW, and an invitation to participate in the #PreventionChallenge.
