SAMHSA is accepting applications for 2020 Strategic Prevention Framework – Partnerships for Success (SPF-PFS) grants to prevent the onset and reduce the progression of substance abuse and its related problems while strengthening prevention capacity and infrastructure at the community and state level. Recipients will identify the primary problematic substances in their jurisdictions and develop and implement strategies to prevent the misuse of these substances among youth and adults.
SAMHSA plans to make up to 92 five-year awards. Up to $300,000 is available for communities, tribal grantees, and territories, and up to $1 million is available for state awardees. Applications are due by March 6, 2020. Recipients of funding under SP-16-003, SP-18-008, or SP-19-004 are not eligible to apply.
