Healing Native Youth Minds of the Pinoleville Pomo Nation presents, “Mending Broken Hearts for Youth: Healing from Unresolved Grief and Intergenerational Trauma.” This three day, culturally-based program is designed for adults who work with Native youth. The purpose of this training is to support Native youth in building healthy communities by helping them recognize, acknowledge, forgive, and heal from unresolved grief created by historical and intergenerational trauma that are direct effects of the Boarding School Era. This training is offered through Pinoleville Pomo Nation’s Methamphetamine and Suicide Prevention Initiative and Pomo Youth Career College Success grants. Registration is free; for more information, contact Gabriel Ray at firstname.lastname@example.org or 707-462-7801.
