Adaptive Leadership: Leading in Times of Chaos

Wednesday, October 7, 2020

12:00pm - 1:30pm

Leadership during chaos requires practitioners to reflect and learn about existing challenges; find solutions collaboratively with other professionals and team members; and determine new solutions. The unpredictability and severity of the challenges also influence organizational leadership. At times like this, prevention professionals can apply adaptive leadership principles to continue to “weather the storm” and lead effectively.

Participants will:

  • Differentiate between change, and change during times of chaos or crisis
  • Identify critical strategies in chaos
  • Apply elements of the Adaptive Leadership Framework
  • Discuss best practices during times of chaos
