Project Director
Erika is the Community Prevention Initiative (CPI) Project Director and provides project management and direction of statewide training and technical services to the prevention field. She ensures comprehensive, relevant, and timely services are provided through collaboration with subject matter experts and consultants. Her fifteen years of practical experience in youth development, mentoring, substance abuse and violence prevention has culminated in a multi-layered expertise in the areas of effective prevention strategy development, implementation and evaluation. Erika’s previous work includes partnership and coalition development, research and evaluation support, and consultation and training services.
Erika received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University, Sacramento. She is an avid reader of all genres, but specifically crime and suspense novels, and enjoys cooking and traveling.
