No-Cost Grief Sensitive Virtual Learning Institute: November 12-13

Join SAMHSA’s Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (MHTTC) Network for Grief Sensitivity Institute Part 2: Applying concepts to practice (Part 1 recordings available soon). The series is geared towards providing front-line workers with tools and strategies for addressing grief and loss during COVID-19 and beyond. This free virtual event has three learning tracks: Evidence-based and Culturally Defined Practice, Grief Sensitivity in the Workplace, and School Mental Health. (Note: you do not need to have participated in Part 1 to join Part 2.)

The Center at Sierra Health Foundation is seeking applications from community-based and Tribal organizations for the Elevate Youth California — Youth Substance Use Disorder Prevention Program. The Center will provide grants of up to $1 million to organization that strive for health equity and that will work on specific culturally and linguistically appropriate prevention, outreach, and education projects focused on youth ages 12 to 26. Applications due October 1.
